I just found out my room mate never seen Mad Max before, so we watched it since it's on Netflix. While watching I found he didn't see Road Warrior, Predator, Aliens, and Terminator. This is weird to me because he's seen Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York. How could you have seen those and not Aliens or Predator?
What's funny is he told me he saw the Aliens vs Predator movie and thought they would be bad so never bothered. They ruined it for him.

I actually haven't seen any of those (at least from beginning to end) either...

My best friend had never seen any Indiana jones movies. I was shocked since we both grew up in the '80s.

Your education has been badly neglected.

That would be shocking. I'll have to ask him if he's seen those, if not that would be almost offensive to me lol

Probably going to add The Thing to the list of awesome 80s movies to watch since he seems to like Kurt Russell movies.

It is. All John Carpenter+Kurt Russell movies in the 80s are good.

Mad Max I can kind of understand as it is a little more obscure, but I'm always surprised when people haven't seen the others you mentioned, or something like Star Wars. I blame the parents.

Ya I can understand Mad Max which is why we watched it, i just assumed he didn't see it.
lol. His parents were like anti-R rated movies even when he was a teen. My dad was a sci-fi and action movie buff and basically when things like that were on TV he would tell me to watch it with him. Any cult movie he would tell me to see it.
