I blame the manager more than Rex. You have SO much cap space. You could've gotten a couple of cornerbacks or safeties... letting Cromartie go for free was a killer.

Their pass defense is nonexistent. They have no real passing weapons (Eric Decker I guess, but he is made of glass).

Look at Eli last year and look at Brady during the first 3-4 games this season. If your o-line plays like shit, you're gonna have a bad time. If you have a mobile QB that alleviates the pain a bit, but still.

They'd rather remember them as a shit team with an interception machine for a QB. That era is gone now that they finally pulled their heads out of their asses and got rid of AJ Smith and Norv Turner. When it comes down to it Rivers is one of the best QB's out there when you look at the numbers he puts up and you also realize that a good majority of plays being called are from him with a suggestion from the O-line coach.

The problem is keeping them fucking healthy. 5 games in and they are already decimated by injuries. But this season is also starting to show that they finally have depth to fill roles that get vacated. I mean the fucking Chargers are leading their division right now, but we'll see what happens next week end. They were the team that was able to beat the donkey's at home last year, I just hope they still have Peyton's number for next weekend to keep the pain train rolling.
