Thing is though, it's not terrible. Plus, those Recaros look absolutely divine.

He's breaking it as we speak, selling all these lovely things individually. The temptation is unreal!

I like it. Plus you can now be selective as to whom gets to ride with you - preferably a lady friend you can hoon to impress. (Hoon the ride, not her (ok maybe hoon her later too)).
And why do we know this will work? "Because as we all know the hand brake leaver is directly connected to a girl's sexual appetite" - The Hamster

Are those Ferrari rims?

Yup! Mirror polished Ferrari 348 rims. The owner is selling them as we speak, I'm strangely tempted...

If they are cheap, you should totally get them for yours.

The second you pull that handbrake, all women's clothing within a mile radius will automatically fall off. FACT.

Sadly he's asking upwards of £1000 for them, and I can't justify that for my daily driver. The places I park my car, they'd be stolen within a month...

Gah, That's a reason why my A4 doesn't have Porsche wheels on it :/

Ooh, Porsche twists? That's a shame, I bet they'd look ace!

Yup, Twists on my B5 is one of my many wants.
They're:
A. Too expensive.
B. Would get stolen in about a day.
C. I'd probably have to roll my fenders if I dropped it a bit, which I'm not about to do.

Argh, the struggle is real! That's pretty much why I can't put them on the Corsa, although there are a few sets going cheap on the forums. Plus I'd need adapters to go from 4 to 5 lug.
If it was a show car I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Saaameee, If I was going to be showing my A4 I'd get some much nicer wheels than the Rs4 reps I've got on the car.
Benz wheels have the same bolt pattern, and they aren't that expensive so that's always an idea.

Mmm, RS4 reps though. Benz wheels are a good call too, I've seen a couple of Corsas dropped on SL rims. I'll probably stick with my stock ones for as long as I own the car though, I like my black and yellow standard 17's :)

Me loves them, They look great on the car if only they were 18's.
I'll probably get some Benz wheels along the line though, but I've got to order coils before anything else.

What kind of Benz wheels, so many look great!
That's the other thing I need to do, get some lowering on the go. I can't go too crazy, just need enough to eliminate the arch gap. Any lower and I face the disapproving gaze of my mother.

I have to say, I kinda like it a lot.

Yup, I just wish I had the cash to do it.
One of my ideas is to get an S4 of the same generation after I sell my A4, so I can basically transfer all of the custom parts on the A4 to the S4. I'd also feel more comfortable modding a car that's going to be a future classic.

Good thinking! I guess that way it's sort of like an investment, given it's future classic status.
Plus you could always play with the power and handling as well as the aesthetics.

Yeah, If I had an S4 I would totally rock APR Stage 3 with alllll the performance goodies.
With my 12v (2v per. cylinder) with a non reprogrammable Hitachi Ecu. There is no performance to be altered :P

Sweeeeeeeet. I'm waiting until my next car to start bumping the performance. I looked at mapping my current ride, but the best I could hope for was a leap from 86 to 99hp if I was lucky. Woooo...

Haha, My A4 is pretty much 172hp. And that's pretty much it. I love the crap out of this thing though, I'll just keep it for rallycross and autocross and winterly duties probably.
There is one performance chip from a super sketchy website called Motodyne though, but it seems like they haven't sold anything since about 2002 though :)

I can only dream of such power! I'm sure it would make a great winter driver :)
Yeaaaah, might want to avoid those guys. I hear a lot of horror stories of people having their VXR Corsas tuned by disreputable garages over here, only to have their turbos grenade a few months down the line. I can't say I have much sympathy for them though, if I was buying real performance stuff, I'd rather spend a little more and get something good!

Haha, Same. If I were going to bother with performance modifications, I'd do it right the first time. After more searching, I can't even get an exhaust system from the box for it. A resonator delete or something is my best bet.
And Quattro is my little bitch >:)
Plus this car hasn't seen winter with me yet so hooning ensures.

Seriously? I had a customs place near me, Powerflow, make me an exhaust for my car. That and a K&N air filter is all I've done to mine and I'm pretty sure they don't make it faster. Louder though :D
Does it snow where you live? Snowy hoonage is a MUST.
jkm7680
> Thunderbee - Has the engine that kids like

Yeah, Haha. According to Audizine, I've got to pre fab a system for myself or have a shop do it for me. Either way, I'm going to get chrome exhaust tips or something like that. They just seem too small on the car. I've also got a K&N air filter :) I stuck the sticker under the hood just for shits and giggles.
It's either extremely hot, or extremely snowy here in Northern Virginia, so I'll for sure have the chance to test it out a bunch in the snow.

Sounds like an effort. Just say 'fuck it' and get Shakotan pipes!
Hehe yeah, I stuck my sticker on the airbox co y'know, +5hp and all that.
Luckyyy! If it snowed more often here in the UK I'd be all about the hoonage. Last time it snowed, I had a Vespa that I used to do the worlds weakest burnouts on

Haha, In times of doubt SHAKOTAN.
I'm pretty sure my sticker is on the airbox or something around there, Haha.
AWD is great in this area though, snow is nice also. Hoonage only. Plus the government puts like this horrible useless salt stuff down that makes a tiiiiny difference :)
