Watch this guy drive a virtual Ford Capri racecar around a virtual Nordschleife. Now, lots of players do the same thing, but this guy took it further. He's got an iPad showing his telemetry, 3 monitors, a nice wheel/pedal setup and he's shifting... wait for it... manually. Virtual heel-toe goodness! And of course the gloves and GoPro cam.

It's all in the details of the video. He lists that he uses two computers: a custom i7-4770k and a 27" i5 iMac.
Monitors: $1100
Gaming PC: ~$1800 (he lists $1300 in parts, but doesn't list a motherboard or specific HDDs and SSDs used).
Camera: $350
iPad: $350
iMac: $1100
Unlisted costs:
Racing wheel setup: $300-600
Racing seat: $100-200
Racing gloves: $50-150
He's into that setup for between $5000 and $6000.

Geez... Why do you stay up there then? Is the maple syrup and being able to cornhole caribou really worth it?
