A 17 year old kid is accused of stealing a backpack, and then proceeds to sit in jail for 3 years waiting for trial before the case is dismissed. 3 FUCKING YEARS. Even if he did everything he was accused of 3 years, largely in solitary confinement, is absolutely absurd. Jesus fucking christ what is the world coming to.
