Update on future vehicle

So it's been awhile since I've updated, and my potential cars have shifted again. My mom has agreed some vintage vehicle into the mix as long as it's not a Miata... or VW Bug...

1. VW Bug :P

2.Camry

3. 60's Mustang provided I save till July which is unlikely.

4: mid 90's VW Jetta TDi

5: Volvo 240

Baja bug most likely won't happen, but I would be very happy with a standard Hardtop sedan. For those that don' know I'm on the prowl for my third vehicle, but first that I buy, therefore I can purchase something that appeals to the Gearhead in me.

Is this for a daily driver and you have no other car? Is it your first car? If so don't buy anything on that list but a Camry.

Why is your mom against a Miata?

If it's your money spend it how you want.

Miata is too small for her, I'm a student living under her house rent free till I buy a new car......

This will be my DD, I'm looking for something simple to work on :/

Mid-90's Jetta TDI would be an excellent first DD. Slow, reliable, small, safe, good MPG.
