This afternoon, in the midst of the peaceful protests in Mong Kok, anti-Occupy Central activists and Occupy Central protesters become involved in street fights. These anti-Occupy Central members consist of residents in the area, shop-owners and pro-Beijing activists. From the news that I have been getting, it appears as though it is the anti-Occupy Central members that began the fighting, hurling insults and attempting to dismantle shelters erected by the pro-democracy protesters.
In addition, since the CE, CY Leung, has refused to resign, the pro-democracy protesters have threatened to occupy and isolate more government buildings. I'm safe for now since I live relatively far from the action so you can rest with ease Oppo. But who knows that the future will hold...

Hopefully there is some good change to come. I don't think much came from those hippies with their occupy thing here.

And here come the 'outraged people' aka Beijing backed thugs. Fights etc erupt. Gov't uses this 'unrest' as a pretense to crush the demonstrations under the guise of 'public safety'...
