Seriously, it's really annoys me that the Japanese spoil the Europeans with hot hatchbacks of all sorts, when they only give us Civics and Corollas, in the C segment.
I mean, not only that they're getting the insane Civic Type R, but they're getting the Nissan Pulsar Nismo, a car that looks almost just as fun and crazy.
Come on Japan, give us some of that Euro flavored bacon.

Type Rs, Skylines and Euro-spec Zs. Enough said.

Don't forget the European hot hatches you don't get. Including but not limited to....

Europe and Japan have equivalent crash and emissions regs. It makes it cheap to bring over. Also they sell at a premium since the market share over there is almost nothing (like Honda is <2% of the European market). People who buy them are people who really want little Japanese burners and pay for it. They'd never move here with the cost of reengineering and with the premiums the Europeans are willing to pay.
I really like the Pulsar though....

The British are the worst for it: lax import restrictions, RHD, a thriving grey market trade in JDM cars...

Lol who wants a hatchback when we have pure american muscle 5.o coyotes and 700+ hp hellcats. And all in proper RWD.

The Yaris we get is built in France, and is almost the same as the European Yaris. If they really wanted to bring those cars over, it wouldn't be as hard as it seems.
Oh well, maybe if the Focus ST will be successful enough, we will see some of the Japanese hot hatches, showing up, too.

Japanese companies just want to die in the US in the eyes of enthusiasts. That's seemingly their goal. Only Subaru and Mazda seems to care. Then Nissan feigns caring but ends up not.

I like the yellow one, the others look late 90's-ish.
