I do the same thing.

I look at offroaders like Jeeps and Land Cruisers, then I'll look at modded sport compacts in the 5-15yr old range, then I'll look at performance oriented late model cars, then I'll look at classic iron....

Yeah, my two main interests in car shopping right now to are new luxury sedans and the 80-Series Land Cruisers. Makes no sense that I'm equally considering both. I worry sometimes that I might end up with both... I have a problem.

I have a weird soft spot for Jeeps. I'm 100 percent a sports car guy, and there's nothing in particular I like about them . I just like them.

It's like when you're a kid and you know you like girls but you have no idea why and you dont even know what you want to do with them, but you know you want to do it.

Pretty much everything I do when I'm not on Oppo/fb/or watching Top Gear is essentially looking at cars I can't afford. I love being an enthusiast but it just takes all your money from you.

Run away while you can. One day I glanced at a Jeep and then next thing I remember is waking up with two Jeeps in my front yard and a pile of parts in my back yard.

(Just kidding come to the dark side offroading is crack at a not so nice price)

We were all there once I feel you. I'm 23 and between work (what's real life?) and two Jeeps, it feels the same haha. You don't need a sweet (expensive) wrangler though. Find yourself an XJ on craigslist for 2-3k. Fun as heck to romp around in, easy to work on, fun to build and wheel.

Expensive to buy maybe, but you can own it for 4 years, put 60,000 miles on the thing and still probably sell it for 80% of what you paid for it.

true, the 2 door base starts at 23k. Not as bad but I still think it's pricey - though a solid starter for off-road modding.
