A quick informal list off the top of my head, inspired by the new Civic Type R. Lists like these have probably been done, and I'm probably wrong on most of them, but it's a fun game.
So here's a list of what I think would be the fastest model from each brand, lets say around a track like the Nurburgring.
Alfa Romeo 2010 8C Competizione
Aston Martin 2015 V12 Vantage S
Audi R8 2015 V10 GT plus
Bentley 2011 Continental Super Sport

Citroen God only knows
If we're going by cars they actually sell:
If we aren't:
What a huge difference.

I was wondering if their WRC cars counted. Probably not. All the more reason to bring homoligation back.

I support this 100%. Homoligation would be a godsend.

DS3 or 4 is what I was thinking, but I wouldn't be surprised if a big 'ol C5 or C6 is faster.

I think the Kia K900 would be faster, and I'm pretty sure Volvo has made faster than the C30.

Corrections: the GMC Syclone was only produced in 1991. The Typhoon was made 1992-1993. The Syclone was faster than the Typhoon at 4.3s 0-60 and 13.6@93MPH vs 5.3s 0-60 and 14.1@95MPH. The Typhoon is actually pretty comparable to modern trucks in terms of 0-60 and quarter mile time which is pretty impressive.

Hmm. I'm not sure. A DS3 Racing would definitely be quicker and has a top speed of 140-something, so I feel like it might be a safe bet. Either way, as Racescort666 pointed out, their rally cars are probably the fastest things they make.

I had 1991, but glanced at Wikipedia and saw the Typhoon's 1992-93

They don't sell the DS3 Racing at the mo, sadly.

Yeah I suppose the Polstar juuuust qualifies as a production Volvo, which would easily make it the fastest.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato or One-77 also for them

The 22b Sti was faster than even the modern STi's, because it was lighter and only a 5 speed, in terms of acceleration. But the 2015 STi is the best handling STi ever. and has near identical 0-60 times and a bit quicker 1/4 mile time than the 22b according to C&D and R&T.

The Vantage S has an extra 60hp on the Zagato. The One-77 is probably faster but I've never seen anyone actually put it through it's paces, but I imagine it drives like the TVR Speed12 -all wheelspin.

It seems to me all of the STI models from the last 10 years are more or less the same level of performance. Not that that's a good or bad thing (same with the EVOs)

Not around the ring they wouldn't be. They top out around 120-125, The long main straight would be a solid half minute of rev limiter.

Lamborghini:
If a Sesto Elemento counts,
If not, VENENO.

Evo's have actually slowed down. The 8 and 9 MR's were the fastest. Where as the STi has bounced back from the previous generation and is faster than the previous generation again, but for a different reason. The mid-00's STi's were the fastest for a while because although they were growing in weight to get to the next generation, the chassis nor the horsepower improved. Where as the new generation STi actually has the chassis to compensate for the weight (.97 G now), and dyno's have proven the new cars to be underrated. The current STi is the first you could actually compare to the 22b since '98.

I don't recall the Sesto Elemento being road legal.
