It has not been good at any point.
First, we had a substitute bus driver this morning, who I had to give directions to for an hour because she was completely clueless as to where she was going and refused to use the paper that gives you directions. And I'm too nice to say no.
Then I get to tech, everyone in my class is rowdy and annoying as all hell, and I hit my head doing an inspection on my teacher's Silverado.
And when I get back to my home school and go straight to English to find out I, and everyone else in my class, failed an AP-style exam we had to take.
And now I just got done with a math test I know I completely bombed.
Oh, and my girlfriend wants to hang out and I have an essay due at midnight tonight I haven't even had a chance to start on.
Seriously, fuck today and everything related to it. Can't it just be Friday already?

And with directions. You sound just like me! I became known for being like the only kid who knew where to go so I was always leading the way!

It seems like it's mostly just this week. And it's not even a full week, I'm off Friday!
It doesn't help that I'm the first one on the bus so it'd almost be rude to say no.

School busses are my idea of what hell would be like.
Thus is why I try to drive to school whenever possible. Which isn't often because it's a 20 minute drive, all highway, during rush hour, in the least fuel efficient car at my house.

I got lucky. The only time I had to regularly use a school bus was the first half of 6th grade, because our pre-algerbra program was at another school. And even then it was only for the ride back.

I rode a bus every day up until this year, and now I only get a ride home with my girlfriend.

I live half a mile from my old elementary school, a mile from my old middle school, and about 1500 feet from my high school.
Bad news: I am the go-to shuttle. Which I actually don't mind.
