I'm in engines research with a professor at my university and currently we're replacing/adding necessary components to a turbodiesel/dyno setup. We've had some trouble locating a place to buy our fuel flow sensor though and I thought maybe you guys would maybe have some leads.

The sensor we're looking for is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

My professor had this to say:

See if you can find this one, or a comparable one. The flow sensor must be compatible with diesel fuel and must be able to measure the range of 0.5-50 L/h, or 0.25-10 gallons/hour.

My professor contacted the company a while ago but received no response. Any help would be appreciated!

You might look into the Gill mentioned in this article.

I think this is the same unit that Audi uses with their diesel setup. They've had their detractors (most notably Daniel Ricciardo), but they might work for you.

I gotta check its funcitions again. But I have a sensor that clamps around a fuel line that gives me the engine RPM. It's from MAC tools. The truck tool brands should have diagnostic sensors that you could use. Not cheap though. I think it's a piezo sensor. Not 100% though.

also what is your line pressure? That sensor is rated for around 75 psi.
