All I'm trying to do is change the logo for my blog (strictly for shits and giggles) but no, Kinja doesnt like my image. I will end you Kinja. Bonus points if you can tell me what tachometer that is without using GIS.

No sir. I believe S2K tachs are digital.

~9000 redline?
Honda S2000 my guess.
Although I did think that it redlined at 9000 and not 8500 but I could be off.

Doesn't look European to me. At first I thought it was American - struck me as from a corvette or something but I don't think the USA knows how to make engine that rev that high. =P

You're on the right track with the Japanese...

RX-8? I have no idea what they redline at, it just looks like the right font & layout.

It's an Asian manufacturer.

I'm sure it's an RX-8 tach.

Theres another Asian engine that redlines suspiciously high.

Rotary? RX-8?

Definitely an RX8 tach, stare at one on a daily basis.

Let me go ahead an specify that it's out of a Series I, not the Series II as well.

bah, beat me by a minute.

Yay! Now as to your main question, IDK. Yours is the right size, 600x180, so Kinja is being Kinja, I imagine.

That's what I was figuring.

How did people get this tach wrong...? I looked at it and knew what it was before I even read far enough to see that there were bonus points. It's on my (long) bucket list of cars to own (I have sort of driven one), and I'm not even a big fan of Asian cars.

One of the older S cars, like the S800??
Other than the S2000, I'm really not sure - that was the only road car I knew of that revved anywhere near that high.
