I might be late in the run, by I know that I'm gonna enjoy the hell of it. And it just snowed in Denmark.... Time for some empty parking spot drifting.
You helped me a lot, and I considered several other ones before going with the M3, by your guys !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Coupé?

Nice choice! Since I’m looking for a similar car at the moment surprised the M135i didn’t make it on the short list. Yes, it is ugly, not a real M and turbocharged but it’s also lighter and has much more usable torque for everyday driving. 1 yr used models are ~36000€ in Germany. Throw in a quaife LSD for 1000€ and you have a nearly new car that’s 90% E92 M3 with much far lower running costs... or am I missing something?
Also, 180% tax? I will ever ever complain about the 16% tax on luxury cars here in Austria again, heh.

The 1 is a bit too small for my use, so I never considered it. :)
Yeah the taxes are mind blowing!

Yep, the sedan is impossible to find in Denmark, and I didn't want to fiddle with registering a car from Germany... So I HAD to go with the coupé, which I don't regret.

Wow man you have had some cool cars...and this would be a great addition to the list. Congrats and enjoy!

I'm starting to think BMW guys aren't douches because of how they drive but because they think only the M1 and e30 are real M cars.

M owners unite! (Share my dads E46 with him)

Congratulations! You chose wisely =)
Pics please!!

Congrats! Just out of curiosity, what did you not like about the C63? I'll be in the market soon, and the AMG is my top choice.

COUPE LYFE DA ONLY LYFE

I just included that because wherever I mention the M135i online, the first response I get is that it is "not a real m car". I personally could not care less as long as the car drives well.

Going to drive it during winters or want to spare it from all the salt? Road down to my house is white from salt, not snow :( Also, where in the county will i be able to spot the beauty? South Fyn here!

Can't go wrong with an M3 congrats!!!

Aarhus, Risskov is its new home. I don't care about the salt, I bought it to be driven, not to be my trophy object ;)

Hmmm, I loved the AMG, #firstworldproblem I have owned too many mercs, I even have a E320 w211 in the garage aswell, and I just sold my E350 Bluetec Avant because I wanted a new dailydriver(the bimmer)
![]() 01/27/2014 at 11:00 |

I definitely won't categorize myself as a douche, but I might transform in the bimmer. Who knows. If I suddenly starts being cocky in my comments here on oppo, its too late.

Thanks! Its now sitting quietly in my garage... maaan, i can't stop looking at it haha

Haha fair enough. That was my dad's criticism too when he went shopping for his last car (E350 v. A6). He went with the A6 because he wanted something new.

I will never chose AWD over RWD. But hey, we(I think) are young... I NEED FUN IN MY BORING LIFE
![]() 01/27/2014 at 11:54 |

Sweet! M3 would have been my choice too.

Thanks, I love it. Its gonna be my DD.
![]() 01/27/2014 at 11:59 |

Thanks man, the ones I wrote isn't my former cars, just the ones I considered buying instead. I have nearly only owned mercs, so a bimmer is a great new touch to my car history.

Love it ;) surely will last longer then the small city bugs anyway :P
![]() 01/27/2014 at 12:03 |

It will probably stay with me in 5 years time, as I tend to spend much on a car every 5th year or so. Just in time for buying the then out-going M3 lol. It will eat them Up!'s RAW.

PICS ARE COMING!

You own a later model M3 so your all good. I love the e92 myself though. I doubt you will. It's just the fucks that buy them your not suddenly going to turn into a twat

You've been too busy driving, I imagine...
![]() 01/27/2014 at 12:55 |

You might be right, haha.

Congrats! Enjoy that beautiful high-revving V8. Engines like that will be extinct in everything but super cars in a matter of years.

Thanks man. Yeah, its sad, but true.
![]() 01/27/2014 at 15:05 |

Yes! I drive RWD even though it kills me come winter. This picture shows the snow after it was cleared. I drove this poor coupe through like a 10inch snowstorm. It was crazy!
![]() 01/28/2014 at 01:59 |
|
congrats. don't snow drift until you get some winter tires, if needed. not that I am questioning your driving skills, but why risk it?
![]() 01/28/2014 at 13:33 |

Nice! Congrats - you will not regret it...
There are quite a few E9x owners who are regulars here. M3Post is great for reference, but it's hard to beat the company here on OPPO.

Thanks man, I have to get used to that many horsepower lol, I'm not experienced at that point, and I actually nearly crashed today, as the road was scattered with black ice... Pew
![]() 01/28/2014 at 21:39 |

Whoa. Glad you're okay.
My last car was a Mazda 3s hatch with 160 hp, so I know how you feel. That said, it's amazing how quickly you can acclimate to having 400 horses under your right foot...
World to the wise: use easy "roll on" throttle unless those front wheels are pointed straight ahead! There's a little back and forth curve by my house, and when I first got my car, I thought I'd goose it a little, to see if I could kick the tail out. Well, all I can say is thank goodness for traction control.
You'll have to find a big, vacant parking lot and play around some with the traction control off, though. Good times.

If you don't post a picture of this thing soon I will. just. die.
That is all.
