I doubt it. Sized wrong. Celica GT Fastback did have some VERY Mustang looking taillights tho so I can see why you thought that.

Where did you see more pics?

I lost a post in there to the Kinja gods. No Mustang lights, but I sure see why you thought so. No progessive blinker either :(

I've seen it in person at Road Atlanta. :D If I wasn't so tired I'd dig through my pictures to find it.
It's not really my cup of tea (I despise black rims on black/dark cars) but it's incredibly well done.

Kinda surprised nobody else chimed in on this car. Guy who owns it goes by Mr. Vengeance" online, has 3 or 4 seriously awesome cars. Makes a living as a graffiti artist actually.

Build Thread for the Celica
Thread for his 71 240z
Thread for Vengeance (his Camaro) - has some really awesome detail shots
The Camaro has been mentioned here - Jalopnik article

Good, progressive blinker is fail. Def looks like a fastback Mustang. Definitely seems like inspiration for this car.

So this is an old Celica? Pretty cool.

I notice nobody has complained about the ol' exposed fasteners yet...
