The Chinese have been buying up a good deal of property and now an investor from Hong Kong wants to buy the old Detroit Boat Club and turn it into a boutique hotel. And I think that sounds like an awesome idea. Article !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Also here is an album of what the Boat Club looks like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , its a seriously beautiful building.

Everytime I see it when I go to Belle Isle, all I can think of is how wonderful of a building it could be.

Good. Someone needs to buy it up and develop it.

There is a lot of opportunity on the Detroit riverfront. And still some pretty great venues which were always there. I once attended a corporate party at the Roostertail. I had never heard of it before then and was very surprised.

My senior prom was almost held at the Rooster Tail, I was actually pretty pissed when it ended up not. It really is a cool place.

This is good, watched the King of Speed doc recently and they were talking about Detroit became a ghost town. Investment should help
