Background info !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . TL;DR...pulling apart entire suspension and brakes on my '93 Volvo 945 turbo, fitting all new bushings, springs, struts, and brakelines, rebuilding calipers, and powdercoating everything semi-gloss black.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
So, I got everything off the car. Everything has been sandblasted clean. I was able to get all bushings pressed out thanks to my new 12-ton floor press, and last night I got final seized slide pin from front caliper bracket and seized piston out of rear caliper removed.
I'm hoping to do some final clean-up and prep to drop all parts off for powdercoating by tomorrow!
I also discovered the torque rods from the rear axle are aluminum. I'm debating on what to do with them. I like the bare aluminum look, so I don't want to powdercoat black with rest of the suspension. I'm wondering if I can do a clear-coat powder coat or if a rattle can of clear coat would be good enough. What do you think Opponauts?

Sandblasting is awesome! Good luck with the project.

Did almost the exact same job on my 88 744. I just didn't do all the fancy clean up and painting stuff. It was my DD, so I didn't have time for that. Judging from your pics, I wish I had - looks great. And I can tell you the improvement in ride is worth every cent and every second spent on the job. I only had ~170k miles or so, but it felt amazing after that - off ramps were so much more fun. No turbo in mine, so the on ramps were about the same.....
Oh - go with the clear rattle can. Should be good enough and look nice too.

That car needs E-codes, desperately.
See my old car (with her current owner) for evidence:

I'm debating on E-codes or just restoring my current lights and tinting my current fogs yellow. I'm not sure which way I'll go yet.
