Power and beauty have not described Lincoln since 1969.

I honestly had no clue Lincoln was still making the Navigator.

IS IT REALLY JUST A STINKING REFRESH? Really though, wth.
They've been making the same one since '07

I really don't know what to think of the rear end......

It looks good from the side, I like the back, even though it's a bit Dodge-y, but that face...
You were this close, Lincoln! THIS CLOSE!

It's better than the front.
But to be fair, here is a list of other things which are better than the front:
Leprosy
Bam Margera
The Cleveland Browns

I loved they way the '03-'06 Navs rode and was extremely disapointed with the '07's when they came out. Instead of feeling like you were floating it turned into a giant truck with some stiffish springs. . . Plus they looked better before the '07's came out. . .

If I'm going to have a giant SUV, and it has to be 'Murican, it's going to be an Escalade. It's not pretty, but at least it's imposing.

Oh look, it's almost exactly the same thing as an Escalade, yet somehow people are complaining. Next thing you know the Cadillac will be crowned Understated Elegant Vehicle of the Century.

There's an '06 Navigator in our family and I adore it. The interior is amazingly well done, not stupidly retro like the '07+ models. It's also on proper air suspension, which rides great. Unfortunately my mom owned an '07 at one point, but luckily it caught fire and burned to the ground. This new Navigator looks like another poor attempt at updating an aging chassis.

Here's what I think of this:
Front end - Ugly (although it does look better in black)
Rear end - Not bad. Not amazing, but not awful.
Interior - It already looks outdated.
Powertrain - Now, here's the bright spot. 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with 'at least' 370 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production version of the 3.5 EcoBoost to date. Not as powerful as the new Escalade, but far from wimpy.
Overall verdict (on a scale of NO to YES, with MAYBE in the middle) - NO

Wat.
Dear Lincoln, have you ever heard of the word 'proportional'?
Here is an example of what it SHOULD look like

I think that other wheel options might be able to fix it, but it's not looking good for it right now.

I don't mind it *shrugs*

Am I the only one here that likes it?
![]() 01/23/2014 at 12:17 |

nope, it's easily better than the last one

Well to be honest, it's part of my crusade against Lincoln in general for making boring, often ugly derivatives of Fords. The interiors of Lincolns are usually pretty nice, and this may not be as hideous as the MKT, but it's competition is the Escalade and I'd rather have that any day.
