As I search eBay for interesting old stuff like any good Jalop should, I keep seeing !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! pop up. Sure, it's Italian reliability with performance that would likely be embarrassed by a Kia Rio full of linebackers. But I drove one of these back in the day, and dammit if the thing didn't corner like it was on rails... Also, the price is stupid-high. But I'm tempted to see if he'll take half that.

You want an early '80s Italian car with fuel injection? Good luck sir. Also, for what it's worth, the car was designed by Pininfarina.

10K built doesnt make it particularly rare, it is the fact that most of them were crushed for rust or other terminal mechanical issues. I actually love these cars, but man you are looking for trouble

I actually test-drove a Beta in early '95 when I was looking for my first car. SO MANY issues, but so so tempting. Also had a hole clear through the body.

The fact that it costs so much says CP to me.
But that's because I got THIS for $2,500:

That's a sweet deal! OK, so it might need a date with your local Maaaaaaaco. But other than that, v8? RWD? Runs? 2500? Yes. You did good.

Oh I know I did good lol.
for 2500, I spun the tires on the way home lol!
Honestly though, the seats are perfect, floors need a couple patches, trunk is solid, torque boxes solid, Cyclone Package, original window sticker from the dealership in 68, only 60,000 miles on it (original...yea...it's seriously got 60k miles). I've upgraded the intake/carb to edelbrock performer RPM intake and 4 Brrl Holley. Just this summer I put on dual flowmaster Super 44s. Engine is where I want it, now it's on to the floors, carpet, then paint, wheels/tires.
Oh, and average NADA price is now just under $11,000. I mean, low retail is 5,675. Oh, and I paid less than it's original MSRP in 1968, which was $2,675.
I win big.
