Seriously, why do people ruin such a good car with such bad rims. SO many Aventadors with hideous rims. What other cars do people always seem to ruin?

I should have taken a pic of the new Porsche I saw in Jacksonville FL a couple of weeks ago - sitting on the cheesiest Pep-Boys-looking rimz I've seen in a long time. Maybe not as hideous as that Lambo, but damn close...

Think about it. how many people that buy a new Lambo actually drive it? I think I would be very generous if I were to say 3% Think about it, the people that buy these cars anymore are the ones that want other people to talk about them when they show up at a night club. Not a track day. 95% of these cars are only status symbols for people with more money than sense to show off how much more money than sense they have. It's like going around and looking at a bunch of sport bikes in a lot. What percentage of them are actually going to have treadwear showing off of more than about 10 degrees off of straight up? Most Ducatis, Aprillias, MV's you see on the street will have their tires flat spotted right through the center of the tread. It's the same story.

Maybe it's just the sharp aggressive angles of the car, looks like speed and violence, and then it has rims that look like cutout paper snowflakes, and an awkward white/black balance that make them look disjointed from the car

I concur. That being said, I would ride the hell out of a Ducati or an Aprilia. MV? Not so much. I'd prefer a vintage Moto Guzzi.

I also own an '80s Fiat, a '78 Suzuki TS185 and put 20,000 miles on my 2013 Mazda3 in 4.5 months.
