"Takuro Spirit" (takurospirit)

The demo has been posted before, which was a BeamNG type open world arena showing you many many ways of destroying the cars using various devices and HotWheels-esqe stunt tracks.
Now the Alpha of the game has been released, we get to see it looks a LOT like a current version of Destruction Derby, which isn't that surprising since it was made by the same developers (I think?)
Makes me wish I had a PC to download and play it on.

It looks like the game is running on the engine of 'World of Tanks', the whole menu is very similar.

The developers made Flatout actually.
I'll wait later on for this game, although I enjoyed the first Flatout game. It seems like the publisher milked them too much, and they're looking for a sort of revenge, showing that they can make a better game without the "Flatout" title.

The guys behind this are the awesome BugBear studios from Finland. :) They didn't make Destruction Derby, but do cite it as one of their inspirations.
They did, however, give us the Flatout series, which we still like to fire up with my buddies when we get together.
Fiercely good fun for people or more. I do recommend you all give it a shot, should be found for next to nothing in bargain bins these days or, ya know, elsewhere online. It even runs on my shitty 6 year old laptop with an integrated graphics card.
For all the xbox360 owners out there, though, you can try FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage (a revamped and ported Flatout2):
Note: I'm in no way affiliated with Bugbear, but their games have given us many a fun evening and I urge you all to give them a look at the very least. :)
