I'd also take the 1 Series M over this car. It's so much more radical and over the top. This one is tame and less exciting. I still love the look though.

I saw the 2 at Detroit Auto Show this past Thursday and it's a very handsome car... It looks beautiful, well proportioned and the interior is sexy as hell.

It's faster than the 1M Coupe on a track, but if I were buying in that category, I would wait on the M2. They were already hinting that a full blown M model was coming later.

Just remember, this is not a replacement for the 1M.
An M2 is coming, which should piss off a lot of S14-swapped 2002 owners.

This isn't a 1M coupe, this is a 135is replacement with the requisite current BMW M-brand whoring.
It does look very good in person, as has been mentioned. That is, good in comparison to the 1-series, the E92 is still worlds more gorgeous. Shockingly, it's only 67 pounds lighter than my 335is! I was potentially very interested in this, but I'll be waiting to see if the M2 comes and if they fix the damn EPS.
