What I think is much worse is that they won't be able to keep up with their weight target of 1000kg / 2200pound and instead will be aiming at 1100kg / 2420pound, which is not much less than the current model. Factoring in a size reduction (which is rumored everywhere), weight savings don't seem to be that high...
