Ok, I'm probably one of the few that are excited when a game - for so long - finally gets announced via Official sources. But I'm not one of those people who would love it so much they'd want the game to come out early - only to get a half-assed product as a result.
I'm, however, one of those people who - !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - can wait until it's officially out.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Then again, I did complain about GT6's inability to gift cars.

I agree. What sucks is when you wait a long time for a game that doesn't feel like the end product justifies the wait.

I wish BF4 had been pushed back by 6 months and thoroughly tested, instead of being released in the fall with a ton of bugs. Oh well :(

I agree about official sources. I'm really looking forward to GTA V PC, and that Brazillian retailer said that they knew when it would come out. I won't believe it till Rockstar says something though.

x1000 this. What worries me is that Sega bought ATLUS, so now I'm a bit skeptical about Persona 5.

Sonic 06 just really breaks my heart. I remember the first time I played Sonic 2 at my cousins house. It was the first game that really wowed me. So much so that the 9 year old me saved up all of my money and bought a Genesis just to play Sonic. I remember exactly where my dad and I parked the day we went to the store to pick it up. I remember exactly where the system was hooked up and how my room was arranged and where I used to sit and play it. I remember all the other Sonic games I had after that for the Genesis and Game Gear. I remember playing those games with my neighbor's grandson. So many fond memories.
I never got into the 3D games until recently, since I didn't get a new console for maybe 13 years after the N64. Once I picked up a PS3 (and Logitech G27, specifically for GT5), I thought I would look into the 3D games. I must admit I never played Sonic 06, but I have watched the reviews and let's plays, and it is both tragic and hilarious at the same time. I decided it wasn't worth my money. Sonic Generations is actually pretty decent.
