What Car Is Perfect For Delaware?

Is there even such a car? Imagine being magically whisked away to the "Small Wonder". What would you drive to fit in with the locals?

Why do I ask, you say? Because I'm tired of hearing that the best-selling vehicle for nearly every state is the Ford F-Series. I'm more interested in what the best vehicle for the state should be.

Also, if you think the most Delaware vehicle happens to be the F-Series, then by all means put it down.

And as always...

Choose wisely!

Chevy Cruze...Delaware is the first American state, is boring and has cheap shopping. The Cruze is the first decent compact from America, it is a bit boring, and is inexpensive.

I see a ton of brodozers in delaware every time I pass through. Hell last weekend coming back through DE in my 745i with my friends jetta following behind, we pulled into a wawa to watch some guy in a lifted ram on mud boggers doing burnouts in the parking lot

F150's (and other pickups) are the norm down there because its mostly farm land, even if they do try and cram developments in between all the corn fields. I never feel "vehicularly unaccepted" when I'm in DE with my marauder or my bronco (Merica!) but I was waiting for some yokel to ask me about my yuppie bmw.

Taxfree cars? Here that would mean the Tesla Model S. I don't know much about Delaware so had to go by that..

This was actually going to be my suggestion

I know nothing about Delaware, but having no taxes helps the Tesla's case. Then there's the fact that the state is very small, only 30 miles wide and 96 miles tall, making an electric car perfect.

If Luxury isn't needed, maybe even a Leaf for a cheaper car, I didn't even think of the fact it's a small state without reading your comment, Delaware should be filled with electric cars.

Odd question... I drive a Saab 9-3 all over Delaware, so I'll just go ahead and say that's it :P. There's not much to define Delaware except that we're that dumb kid always screaming "FIRST!" and we have some attractive tax laws for shoppers and corporations...

I too drive a 9-3. I've taken it through Delaware a few times... I didn't feel out of place.

Good choice... I have seen many a Tesla Model S in DE. We have one of the first superchargimg stations on the east coast as well, which explains the number of TMS's I have seen.

The vehicle purchase might be tax free, but the DMV derermines your initial registration fee bases on the vehicle's value. That's essentially a tax, and it's not cheap.

Side note - the car for Northern DE and Southern DE are very different. No DE should be Tesla. So DE should be bro-truck.
