That is the question. I have been thinking and pretty damn hard, that if I buy wheels I will completely deplete my money source. With literally no money for anything else.

But if I want to go autocrossing, I will be running stock tires and will be in a STX(with headers and a tune). . . with stock tires. I find this kind of funny, but hey who cares? I am not there to compete with people but rather to have fun.

My main concerns are A) not having a CEL cause that is just annoying B) not causing the engine to run lean due to CEL(sometimes it says the car is running too rich). C) Not destroying my wallet due to low amount of money. I will just work part time for a few months and then at the beginning of summer blow some of that money on wheels! It won't even take that long.

Basically what I am trying to say is. . . I am getting a tune. It is the best choice. And although I will be laughed at at autocross, it will get rid of the CEL and not cause the car to run lean. Oh did I mention a little extra power!! Plus it is 1/3 the price of the wheels without tires. . .

Money. I don't eat a lot, and I buy a bunch of cheap food. So it is all good. . . with wheels this may have been a problem.

I spend, maybe 80 dollars in food a month. I am pretty good with keeping costs down.

I've got my sticky tires on steelies, and the grip makes up for the weight, believe me.

Some all season bridgestones. They came with the car rather than the Michilens, they are better all around tires.

It wouldn't matter too much in the corners but you will notice with braking and acceleration. The steering may get heavier as well.
