I've been sporting a handlebar on and off for a few years now..

Kinja'd!!!

Turns out that the ladies didn't like it that much, so I trimmed it..

Kinja'd!!!

Let's just say that it was a BAD idea...

Handlebars are cool, but the after pic looks badass.

If a scruffy and thin moustache is badass, I guess it does :P

5 or 6 years ago I was dating a girl and she suggested I get my hair cut short, buzzed. So I did. We broke up a month later and the next girl I dated casually mentioned that I should let my hair grow out. It's impossible to win.

Tell me about it.. I usually cut my hair with a cut throat razor, but a very close friend told me she did not like it when I had no hair, so I grew my hair out. Now this OTHER girl tells me I look super hot without hair.. Women I say...

Those both are some the greatest moustaches I've seen. You rock the handlebar. Those ladies were obviously not good enough for you. If I could actually grow a decent moustache I would definitely try out the handlebar.

Well, I CAN'T grow a proper stache really.. see how thin it is just below the points where my nose ends? Just let it grow mate, it takes some time..

I know. But I've never had the opportunity to use that Seinfeld .gif before, I've been waiting since the 90's for this moment :,)

Buddy, you gotta let that beard grow out. I have noticed that the beard is the saving grace of the larger man. How else has Rutledge Wood managed to look so trim?

I've been sporting 'The Selleck' for about a year now; the ladies love it and the men wish they had the chutzpah to grow one.

It would take me like 2 years to get that density haha. I'll keep on trying though but my family, except for my Mom's dad for some reason, does not do good in the facia hair department...

well before I got it cut 10 months ago, it had been years, it was down to my lower back. Just like Richard Christy, I did one last head bang before they took come scissors to it. My fiance still has my metal hair in a bag lol

I had hair that long when I was 17.. then I discovered The Sex Pistols, cut my loooooong hair into a foot long Mohawk :P Now that I'm in my thirties and work as a salesman, it's quite hard to do stuff like that. I really wanna let my hair grow, or colour it green or something :P

Shit, I'm 19 and can grow a beard ahead of pretty much anyone my age, so I do. But, I tried growing a handlebar mustache and after about a month, gave up because it was getting annoying. Good for you being able to sculpt and foster such an epic mustache.

I try to get my mustache to grow so I can do a handlebar but it doesn't like curling and I end up trying to not eat it. . . But I'm too lazy to trim it before I shave my beard off. . . So I've committed to see how long I can get it to grow. I wonder if it is like my chin where it will only grow a certain amount and be one perpetual length. Oh and another problem I have is that I can't find a good stache wax.
