I have to say I really don't like this picture. The entire front end looks comically friendly, as if it's a dog happy to see you come home. The headlights look they have eyelashes and the grille looks like a smile. It doesn't look aggressive in the slightest to me.

The rest of the body looks phenomenal but that front does not look like it should be on a Corvette. Regardless, still an awesome car.

It's clearly an artist's rendering, and not the real thing.

God help us if the actual 2015 Z06 looks like that. gaudy and classless rendering.

The real car is allegedly shown in this mistakenly posted, GM link and it clearly doesn't look like this (note the differences in the grill, for instance):

Agreed. I highly doubt the road-going version will look like that.

Also agree that it's gaudy, and I'm a Vette fan for life. But that looks like a C7 with a bunch of 3M-double-sided-taped-on aero pieces.

so far this damn smallpox vaccine is growing on me more than the C7 is... for now, I'm still hoping that upon my return to the US that a nice C6 Z06 will be available. Nonetheless I am ever thankful for all the rich old guys who enable automakers to do such great work. Keep doing your thing gentlemen, I will be happy to relieve you of your gently used cars so then you "have to get the new one."

Nice! But I'm not the biggest fan of all that obtrusive black trim they plastered all over the C7, so to me this would be even better looking if the car were all-black.

Speaking of all-black cars, the other day I was driving home in light rain on I-275 North-bound through Tampa, when a black CTS coupé (couldn't tell if it was a -V or not) going well in excess of the posted speed limit went whipping by on my right and angled off into an off-ramp, and against the shiny road and all the reflected city lights, my oh my did it ever look bad-ass.
