Morning Oppo. I finally got around to decorating the bar I built in my basement, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The wife and I spent some time yesterday hanging some stuff around the house, put these up behind the bar.

Left to Right:

Canvas 1 - Rental Jeep when we were in Hawaii last year. Was going to get the cheapest thing they had, glad we didn't. Rented this and kept it almost the whole trip, top never went up. We drove around Honolulu, the North Shore, etc. and even took it off road on the Northwestern corner of the island.

MetalPix 1 - Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera with me at the wheel at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . My birthday surprise from my wife during a cross-country drive last year. Awesome setup, I had a former pro-driver guiding me around, really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I was supposed to get the Aventador but someone took it offroading that morning and it was not available so I got more laps in each car.

MetalPix 2 - 458 Italia from the same day, enjoyed it even more than the Lambo. The noises, the driving position (esp. headroom), the experience, everything was better. And I had a better instructor who really pushed me hard. I have some track experience so I think he was happy to not have a complete newbie. Both cars had electronic nannies turned on and I was amazed at how they just stuck through the turns and made me look like a hero.

Canvas 2 - Our 2012 Wrangled Unlimited coming down Pike's Peak during the cross-country trek. Awesome drive, camped in the Jeep several times on a futon. Highly recommend driving cross-country if you can.

My sister got me Mustang picture for my b'day but the frame broke so it still has to go up. Some more pics below, this one shows the full bar. Still needs a little stain on the trim and the reclaimed wood on top needs some poly.

Closer pic of the Italians.

Canvas was from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and the MetalPix was from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Both were Group-ons I think, very cheap for 16x20 artwork. We have a few others of our wedding, kids, etc. around the house. That's all, figured I'd share. As you were Oppo.

So so, considering the builder pre-ran the rough-in for water/drain it could have been better. There was only one "oh shit grab a bucket" moment and we needed a couple of additional elbow joints to get it to the right spot, but all-in-all not bad! It is nice to have water. We also ran some outlets into the back part of the bar.

Nice! I was wondering if you had to do any concrete work or if it was pre-existing. Looks like a pretty sweet setup.

Looking good! Now to outfit it, I've found BarProducts.com has great prices on bar tools and glassware.

Thanks! I've got lots of glassware in the cabinets around back, but stools we very much need. Tough part is finding affordable options, I'll check that site out.

Their best deals are in bulk glassware and bar tending tools (shakers, pourers, mixer bottles etc.). Don't hesitate to check their clearance section either, last year a buddy and I split a gross of (slightly) defective shot glasses for under $20. Basically the glasses have a slightly frosted finish instead of the desired smooth one... Good enough for 72 glasses for $10!
