I don't know much about trucks but that seems like a steal to me

For all the work that truck has probably been through it is in shockingly good shape.

Looks exactly like my buddies truck. Two tone '97 F250 Non-Turbo Powerstroke. 5 grand seems about right, as long as it comes with that plow.

That's about 20 minutes away from me.

Only 166k miles, but I think that's when the injectors start needing replaced. We had trucks with international engines (4300s and the later MaxxForce series) and they were very pricey. I'm not sure about Powerstroke but I've heard similar horror stories on Cummins engines.

Patchogue is quite a ways from me, about 30-35 minutes no traffic.

97 non turbo? I'm confused. Not calling you out, but all the Powerstrokes were turbo'd. Before the PS you had a 7.3 IDI which was N/A. Then the Strokers came out in 95 and they all should be turbo'd. Unless there's something I don't know... enlighten me.

Hmm I could might very well be wrong. I know my buddy has a 7.3 and I know it's N/A and I thought it was 97 but it could be earlier. As I was writing that I thought N/A powerstroke sounded wrong, so I think you may be right.

The 7.3 was the powerstroke from 94 on. My buddy has the first year of it. before that it was the 6.9 or 7.3 idi which were almost identical
