was this in TN or NY? I see NY plates on the trucks in shot one, but TN dealer tags.

It really really wants you to think it's an M6! I don't think it was though. Also it had a slushbox, boo

Cool! I live not too far away. You're probably familiar with that Home Depot, right off Woodhaven Blvd & Metropolitan Ave.

Now there's a proper fucking beltline! Crash standards be damned!
![]() 01/02/2014 at 16:44 |

Ha! It's a beautiful car, no doubt about that

yeah, I know where it is for sure! I was just down a few weeks ago and went right by there

Yeah, it does have some odd mods, like led fogs...

slushbox = 635csi, definitely not a M6

Good thing he parked in proper BMW style.
![]() 01/02/2014 at 17:05 |

How strange: he parked like an asshat!

I just don't even get it. The owner must like the car. Why park like that and risk getting dinged?
I always park my BMW perfectly to minimize the chances of someone dinging it when they open their door. I think 100% of the people on oppo do the same with whatever they drive.

Not a lot of W251 in burgundy. - it's arguably rarer than the 6er.

My eyes weren't playing tricks on me - the Bimmer driver can't park for shit.
If that were my R, that 6 is going to be dinged as fuck, because R needs huge space to open the door, and if you box me in tight, I'm taking it out on your car.
![]() 01/02/2014 at 17:54 |
|
Yeah, seriously.
There's no reason for that kind of parking.
![]() 01/02/2014 at 17:56 |

Thats not very nice!
![]() 01/02/2014 at 17:58 |

Well not many people bought the R class.

Agreed, boxing someone in isn't very nice at all, that's why your car is likely to get shit for it.
Thing is, a some of these drivers simply don't care. They can't park for shit, and their cars are keyed all to hell. Deep gouges, full-length of both sides. Kick dents in the lower panels.
Of course, if they learned to park, it wouldn't be an issue.

That's for darn sure. R class is fairly rare, less than 50k sold in the US to date, and the vast bulk are silver. Burgundy is very uncommon.

I meant that damaging other people's expensive personal property isn't nice. At least he's in the white lines, which makes him more considerate than many other people who suck at parking.

If you don't leave someone room to open the door properly, what to expect?
