Here's the challenge, you have a 5 car garage and $100,000. What do you fill it with? Tools, 1 really fun car? 5 beaters? 3 and a boat? Go nuts!
For me It would be an Is200 with ITB's, manual and LSD
Either a land cruiser HDJ81 manual or a UZ100 (or 105) decked out for moderate expedition work
Some type of off road camping trailer (probably can't budget an UEV, but I want one)
JSW tdi 6 speed
And the rest on tools. Mostly hand tools, but some air tools and shop essentials as well.

I would spend another 5k on tools, 2k on a lift. One dedicated service bay. One Roadmaster woody, one 91 Audi 200 20V quattro avant, one Ferrari 400i (so I could say I had a Ferrari for cheap) and one nice Grand Wagoneer/Wide-Track Cherokee. All bases covered. Bikes I already got

Well, let's see. We'll start with filling one bay with assorted sized of Cro-Moly tube, bar stock, and sheet metal. Then buy some totaled miata, suspension components, wheels, tires, and other essentials. Spend the rest on tools, and build your own cars. Sell cars, buy more materials and make more cars. BAM.

Hmmmm..... unison used for 20 grand, 2003 Viper for 30 grand (yes, there is actually one that cheap where I live), nicely loaded 2014 GTI for around 30 and the extra 20? Build an LSX Miata!

First thing... TWO POST LIFT!
Then I will focus on tools I don't have already:
-Tig welder
-plasma cutter
-manual tubing bender
-band saw
-lathe/mill combo
I would then move my Mustang over and continue to build it!
Next I would get a clean white CRX and make a track-rat with 300 NA HPs
I would then buy a blue Mercury Marauder as my daily but would put a twin-screw on it for fun.
Next would be a Buell XB12S modded to perfection!
I am sure I would have cash leftover but these are the must-haves for me!

Since this is pretend sure I'll get the R500. In reality I'd go for one of the smaller engines so as not to kill myself.

I'd buy NSX for about $50k, GT-R R32 for $10k - $15k, any Mustang from the '60s for $15k, hot hatch for some daily fun (Focus RS, Civic Type-R, Megane RS) for $20k and something old, RWD and cheap. The rest I'd spend on necessary tools and some rubber.

1. new Subaru BRZ of an FRS $30k
2. A new VW GTI $30k
3.that 1995 acura integra at the one deanship that I have wanted to buy for so long with 10K set aside for upgrades $12k
4.A infiniti G35 or 37, or a nissan 350z/370z used obviously, under $12k(ill leaves this for the most part stock)(maybe brakes and suspension at most) (with an body kit) (all out of the 12k so probably a z car for around 9k)
5. use the rest of the money for tools in the last bay which is used as a small workshop are in unison with bay 4 for repairs, oil changes, etc. about 3k at most, just a simple shop.
6.Use the money left over for whatever upgrades I can manage, possibly all to one car for a track car, which would give me around $13k to spend on the cars.

Funny enough, this fits into my plans after I can get out of my condo and into a house with a sizeable garage.
- 997.2 Carrera
- E28 M5
- Beater 4wd of some variety.
- S13 240SX project car.
- 2-post lift, air compressor, tools...

Invest money.
...
If it's against the rules to cop out like that, then:
1. Keep my '05 Tucson for doing winter and practical things.
2. DD - E12 Alpina B7s Turbo. Hard to say what the price would be... just finding one would be a challenge. Probably ~$45-50k. Yeah, I'd DD it, I ain't scared.
3. That Beta Zagato on eBay (look it up!). $10k.
4. A Mondial, so I can show up to Ferrari Owners Club meets. $25k.
Edit: screw the Ferrari Owners Club, I could find a used Caterham for $25k!
5. Lift and tools. Maybe like $3k total. I'm no mechanic, no need to splurge too big.
6. A couple of decent kayaks and a mountain bike that isn't made by Jeep.
7. Pocket the rest, cash money baby.

Hum, I think I'd have far more then 5 beaters (or, more accurately, projects) and would rotate them in and out of the garage as and when they need work.
I sense, though, that that is cheating a little :)
In which case, I think I'd start a small garage modifying either Triumphs or Alfas. I'd do 24v conversions of TR6s and 30v Stags based on the Sprint 16v head, or 3.5l conversions of GTV6s, Alfettas and 6s.
I wouldn't make much money I don't think, but they'd be kickass cars.

1979 Jeep Cherokee (FSJ)
1972 AMC Javelin
1st Gen Ranger Ecoboost Swapped
560 SEC
Bay 5 is empty, for better working/storage space, any funding left goes to tools.
(These pictures are mostly idealized, mine would likely start much rougher and be built using said tools)

Bay 1: Tools, work benches, parts (see 12 gauge garage)
Bay 2: spot w/lift (see 12 gauge garage) + RSTI (interchangeable rally/track car) permanent spot ($25k)
Bay 3: Keep my current NA Miata there and finish outstanding dream projects for it ($5k)
Bay 4: Buy BMW 1M and DD it, cuz I don't believe in letting cars collect dust to make a buck ($55k)
Bay 5: trade up wife's new Volvo for Lexus IS350 F-Sport. (She love's those, and if she's only getting one, it better be good) ($15k)
I'll use my current car budget allotment towards parts and higher insurance payments. Fun challenge. Really made me think

I'd buy a 2014 Vette with all the candy, a nice used pick up, a used Outback and if there was anything left...a nice full suspension mountain bike.

Going by the prices in the UK, and converting that to about £61k....
1: Classic Saab 900, black, 3-spokes
2: Land Rover, military Wolf spec
3: 1959 Cadillac
4: Daimler DS420 hearse
5: AMG CLS Shooting Brake
From what I've found a decent one of each for, used, I'd have about £500 left... I guess that'd go to a pro photographer to capture my glee :)

Bay 4: Tools, her Vespa, space for my eventual / theoretical CB250.
Bay 5: I have a shedload of money left over so... air cooled 911.
