May want to drop an 'f1' tag onto this article for archiving purposes — I love being able to come here and just type that into the search bar to pull up all articles on it or just click it if I'm in one.

The poor finacial results are entirely FIA and Bernie's fault. A lot of people are just not interestd in F1 as it was before, which leads to not very much companies wantong to cought up more money. I know that we are wagin war on smoking, but in the past most of the teams had sponsorship with tabacco and they can spend huge amount of moeny. The amount of stuped rules and they continue to rise are the big factor. They just made racing a tad sterile. I think F1 is about pushing the limits, not giving every team a spec car.
Even in the Schumi era there was a lot of drama that made F1 interesting for a lot of people. Bridgestone vs Michelin, Schumacher vs Hakkinen vs Alonso. Almost everu month we had a rumor that the big teams are going to create their own race and be done with FIA stupid rules. Now we don't even have that.
I returned watching F1 mostly for Kimi, but I am bored of Fettel dominance, not because he is dominating, but because nothing else is happening. Also currently apart for Kimi there are no fully fleshed out characters in the racing world. Everybody is too scard to say something, that can offend sponsors or FIA.
