But I had to pull over earlier today so i could take ipotatoes of this beauty
I've fallen down on my basic early American Ford knowledge apparently, because all I know is this is a Ford Deluxe Coupe, with wonderful V8 badging on the rear. She also had an aftermarket tach, decidedly fat rear tires and a Bonneville sticker in one window….I was in a hurry, so I couldn't look too much and tell what she is, but I'm guessing either a fantastic condition racer, or just made to look it. Either way, I'm in love.

One of my all time favorite cars. It's just such a good looking body style. I will own a 1940 ford hot rod at some point in my life.
Iirc this was at the Rhinebeck show. I have more pictures on my computer. This car was stunning, it stopped me in my tracks. It was such a quality build as well.
I hope the picture works. I've never posted a picture on this site.

I have always loved them since I was a little kid going to car shows with the old man. I also have a soft spot for a well done 1940 ford pickup truck.

I used to be more into this age of cars, as a kid I liked Elvis, The King and Costello, and 30s-50s cars. My taste in music pretty much progressed with my taste in cars, but I still love em, there's just a sense of occasion that comes with cars from that period

Arctic blue with factory bronzit pinstriping and yellow fogs……it would be a tad out of place haha, but I still kinda like the idea

That's damn near French racing colors.
It would look cool, but (this is going to sound crazy) maybe think about white.
The more I think about it, though, that really sounds cool. I think there's an Alpine A110 with that same color scheme.

My view is that you'd have a hard time going wrong with an Arctic Blue BMW, no matter what color wheels.
