It's relatively close, it's got the supercharged engine, it's elegant as fuck, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . All it needs is an intake manifold gasket.

Buy it. Fix intake manifold gasket. Put manual in it because you can and you should. Profit? Probably not but what an interesting project car. Price is good. 10/10 would buy.

Now that's right in my usual price range.
There will be more you will need to sort out than just the gasket on the intake. Cars priced at this range usually mean the previous owner has pretty much given, which tends to mean one big problem and a couple of niggling ones (or two big problems).
Still, for $600 you could probably part it out and make a profit if it turns out to have horrendous issues.

Manifold gasket is super easy. My first go at replacing one was 6 hours. Second? 2.5 hours. NP all day long (as long as that M90 is in decent clip)
