Bullshit. Less than 3 hours at the DMV is scientifically impossible

Did you put a closed sign on the door or something?

My last DMV visit (every four years yay, drove there on my month-expired license) took over an hour, because somewhere between my original license and getting my renewal, they decided that a PO Box couldn't be the first line of the address. Not just the only line... Just the first line, despite the street address being the next line. So I had to wait, find that out, argue, fill out a form, wait, get it notarized, get back in the other line, wait, and get my picture taken, while my buddy (my cover story for how I made it 15 miles on no license) cracked wise and hit on the girl next to him in the waiting area, much to the chagrin of the employees.

Good times.

It is possible. I renewed my license that was due to expire the next day in under a half an hour. What a great feeling.

Yeah they opened some offices in TX that handle nothing but drivers license related issues. My fiance and I used one about a month ago since we needed new pictures and a change of address, and we were in and out in 20 min. It was glorious!

It depends on what you go there for. small stuff like renewing a license usually takes under an hour, sometimes as little as 15 minutes. It did take me 5 hours to get my car registered last year.

I know, Right?

I make sure that my paperwork is right or proof of it. They had to look up Personal property tax for 2011 on computer. I had a print out of what I could get online, but not the actual receipt I would have to go to the county courts building and pay a dollar for.

The gal was nice enough that she looked it up instead of sending me to go get the right paper. This is also a newer Store front than some of the other places. They don't do drivers license test, but everything else is automotive is there. And I think 4 or 5 people be hind the counter.

I have tried to title one of my rabbits and the title was written on & out of state and got turned away. So unless you have EVERYTHING correct, it may take a while.
