My friend's been seeing a granny-driven S14 around a bunch. He's been lusting after it pretty bad.

Yeah I think we've talked about this before.... Until they finish the roundabouts on Wauwatosa rd (76th street/hwy 181) up in Cedarburg, I've been taking 43 to work instead of 41/45.
MOST of the time its faster... but its more miles.

Yeah, I live in downtown, and have been taking 43 up to around Silver spring... going north its not bad but between the summer festivals and the construction on 43 southbound...going home is hell. I was actually up in the Cedarburg/Port washington area a couple weekends ago riding the Interurban trail up from milwaukee... what a beautiful ride... if you have a bicycle i highly recommend you do it if you havent already

Yeah, lived in Cedarburg about a block from the trail, and just moved to Grafton... about a block from the trail.
Don't know if the whole family is up for that long of a ride, but I used to bike down the lakefront from the Domes to Oak Creek when I lived in Milwaukee, so I'm sure I could do it without dying. I'm not THAT out of shape, I swear!

Yeah from my apartment I can get on the Oak leaf in downtown and go to the brown deer trail then to the IUT its a beautiful 30 mile ride to Port washington... the ride back from Port on the Road is abbsolutely amazing too.

am I alone in thinking it looks really ugly? paint... wheels..... just plain and ugly?
![]() 09/30/2013 at 13:40 |

It was an ugly shade of pale green.... the wheels were hard to tell since they were moving.

its hard for me to look past that. :) then again, the s14 has a ton of potential with the sharp looking front headlight conversion.

It's a lovely drive, unless its rush hour. Needs to be 3 lanes.
Or when its winter. Needs a center divider wall.
