Posting again for the morning crowd.

I've had to do some basic maintenance work on mine since I purchased it, but with a little bit of investment, they make for amazing cars. I absolutely love my MR2, it's my favorite car to drive; and that's why I own it. They have such an indescribable personality, and I constantly get comments on other car geeks remarking at how rare they are now. They're honestly pretty common with high mileage and sub 7k pricing.

I did see one on sale through MR2OC with only 11k miles on it for 22k. I envy whatever museum buys that one.

Im in love with the 3s engine, especially if i could snag a 3S-GE. I had a rav4 and though it was underpowered, that engine (and engine note) were good fun.

3S-GTE's are pretty easy to find. They aren't common, but they're definitely out there. Swaps are really popular for the NA cars, but they're very expensive since it's such a cramped area to work in.

My MR2 has an aftermarket exhaust and air intake that makes me drive with the windows down in Texas heat just to hear the wastegate and exhaust note sometimes.
