Kinda makes me wonder what the result would be if someone tried to put the hybrid system from the Prius together with the engine in a Tacoma.

I mean, a potential fuel economy increase and a bit more HP and torque.

It would be one heck of a challenge, but I'd like to see someone at least give it a shot.

Decided to research it a bit. Guy had a pickup but needed better MPG. Why not just get a Rav4 or Jetta Sportwagen TDI or something!?
