Notifications aren't clearing for me

I have tried logging out and back in again but every time I refresh the page or go to a another gawker/kinja page it reappears. It's probably just a temporary error but for the moment it's annoying. Anyone else?

For the techs, Mac OS X 10.7.5, latest version of Chrome.

Same for me, although actually mine finally did just clear. IE7 (don't judge, no choice at work).

Well, would you look at that, it just cleared and after clicking the notification for this comment, that one seems to stay away too. It must be messing with me.

There were some site issues earlier in the day that could have caused this for you.

Yeah, it seems to have cleared up. Tons of 403 errors though.
