My trailer jack has been F'd up for a while. I took the day off because I haven't had a day off in a while, and one of the things I did around the house today was fix my trailer. Now, I probably shouldn't have welded it in, because if this jack ever breaks I've got a long row to hoe getting it un-stuck. However, I'm MUCH more confident in the trailer's ability to not fall down now.

Even though I've been learning stick, I pussed out and used the MIG machine today. I should have gone to get the right color spray paint too, but instead I've now got a weird blue blob at the jack end. I'll fix all that when I refurb the whole trailer. Whoever welded it up initially did a shite job. That's probably why it was cheap. It's not so terrible that it's going to fall apart on the road tomorrow, but the welds look like crap and are starting to crack. I think I can do better.

I welded flanges onto my trailer tongue, and bolted the jack to the flanges.
