It's connected to an automatic transmission, which makes it very hard to like.

I honestly don't see the point of these, except for making idiots people with vivid imaginations think they're driving a hot sporty car, when they're not. Nobody who drives an automatic ever does anything but put it in drive/park/reverse anyway, so you could put it on the steering column instead with no loss in utility. Look at all the space this thing takes up! I'd rather have a cupholder there than that thing.
