VW is making a "Unlaunch" campaign for the Kombi, as its production stop this year. Really awesome.

"There goes the Kombi. Soon, in no dealership near you."

"Every car deserves a launch announcement. But only an icon like the Kombi deserves a unlaunching announcement.
That's right, the last Kombi of the world will be manufactured on the end of this year. And, like all Kombi it will be released without onboard computer, no airbags, no ABS brakes, no touchscreen panel.

There are sometimes I hate this thing so much, mostly for it being so unsafe. But there are times I think how ingenious it is, how simple yet so roomy, functional and reliable and then I love it.

Nevertheless. It is time for it to go. I just wonder what VW can do to fill this gap.
