Since I don't have many sources on this, is there a release date for the 3.33 / 3.0 dub or is it still in subs right now?

Funimation bought the rights, though they still haven't dubbed it as of yet. I have no clue when they'll be releasing it dubbed though.

I'm confused by Evangelion...I thought I've seen it all, but looks like I didn't. Would you care to make me a plan of how what to watch on Evangelion?? I mean, in order.

Ok here is Alex's certified way to watch Evangelion.
Original TV series to episode 24.
(This is where the story line splits. I consider the TV ending to be the "good" ending while "the end of evangelion" is the "bad" ending. It all has to do with what shinji decides to do during a certain event. However "end of eva" shows what is happening outside shinji's head up till the decision, while the last two episodes are always in shinji's head so if you watch the episodes first you have no idea what is going on. End of Eva gives you a frame of reference of what exactly the fuck is going on. Anyways back to the list)
End of Evangelion (the movie)
The last two episodes of the series. (Bonus: if you can find them, some of the episodes have directors cuts which are really cool.)
Dont bother with "Death and rebirth" it's just a recap of the series and the first 30 min of "end of evangelion".
Then the four rebuild movies. These are sequals that take place after the events of end of eva. However it's a time paradox and time is basically repeating in the world that end of eva left behind (I can go into this in depth if you would like but I don't want to make this too wordy. ). Since certain changes take place due to the setting by the second movie the rebuilds take on their own story line.
Evangelion 1.11
Evangelion 2.22
Evangelion 3.0 (only in japanese at the moment)
Evangelion 4.00 (to be released in 2015)
I hope this helped you out an if you have any question I'll be glad to help!
