So, as some of you may be aware, my project Ranchero does not have a grill. These things happen, and it leaves me with a blank slate to start. The following are selections possible, with '60-'63 a guaranteed fit and other years probably a fit as well, because Australia.
First up: 1960
Very readily available, has kind of an interesting recessed look when mounted. Has light mounts, which I like.
1961
Also has lights, though less reminiscent of an old Lincoln, makes for some interesting looks if upper/lower passes are blacked out. Probably my favorite by a slim margin.
1962: omitted because it's garish and sucks on toast
1963
Stock to the car, and a good look similar to the '61. A little fragile and has no light mounts, but very clean looking. Somewhat harder to find, for some reason.
1964: Omitted for same reason as '62. The first year of a slightly larger body.
1965

Would fit, with the outer corner trimmed off. Very nice overall.
1966

Here we've entered an odd area: the Aussie import. This is a '66 Falcon grill from Oz, after discontinuation of the original in the states. I kind of like it, and it's available in the same price range as the first few, + international shipping, of course.
1967: Didn't find any of the Aussie-only '67 for sale
1968

Striking, but a little odd.

I'd take the one that double as a grill for the fire... or the 65 one.

Ah, the Land-Rover selection criteria.

'66 Oz grill, honestly.

I like the '65 and the '60. They both stand out, without being over-the-top.

Ford Frontenac grille. 1 year only Canadian model, you can't see it easily but the center emblem is a maple leaf. You will be the only one in Australia with one.

I would either stick with the stock 63' or try the 65'. I've never seen one with a 65 grill and it might look pretty awesome.

I'm in the US - "because Australia" was meant to mean because Australian Falcons post-63 have the same body for some years.
I actually looked at Frontenac grilles, but the *one* on eBay is far too expensive, and none are currently listing on CL that I could find.

Forgot to mention, that's the US '65 (last year in US). The Oz '65 was this:
Not sure if it's my cup of tea, but it has lights and has a neat look to it.
