Everybody's progressing through Trevor's missions and I'm sitting here trying to kill 25 hillbillies. Should I upgrade my shooting? Get some armor? Is there anywhere I can hide? I need some help.

Use auto aim. That's what I did. When he's in his special ability mode, he can take alot of damage. Also, keep an eye on your radar for where those guys are coming from.

Is it that first rampage? That drove me nuts. Trev's special ability is helpful. As for cover... don't bother. They'll flank you from almost anywhere. Just keep mobile and remember you also have grenades.

Go up on the roof of the convenience store where the rampage occurs. Rain hellfire down with 360 degrees of view! No need for armor and there is only one way up, a ladder. Keep an eye on that and hold down the right trigger and you will be golden.

Use the grenades you get! That mission took me about 15 tries... once I learned I had grenades, it only took me about 5 more... just stay mobile!

That's what I tried the third or fourth time, but some dillhole a mile away keeps picking me off. I swear, I can weave through traffic without needing Franklin's special sauce, but put a gun in my hand and I'll die in two seconds.

Yeah, it's the first. I was under the impression that Trevor's rampage ability would be on by default throughout the mission. I mean, it's called a Rampage, after all. Is that not the case? Do I need to re-trigger it after the beginning?

Arg, I'm no good with grenades. I'm sloppy with guns, but give me something I have to aim even more carefully and I may as well be blind.

The one other thing I can recommend is get on the roof.. they don't really follow you up there.. the ladder is in the back of the store

Just use the vehicles as cover and run from cover to cover, thats what i did and i had no problem beating it first time. Make sure you have enough ammo and uses a machine gun/shotgun combo. When they get close use the shotgun otherwise hit them from a far with the machine gun (ak-47 like gun). Watch your six and keep your eye on the mini map. hope this helps!

Yes, I had the same misconception, it is NOT on by default, you trigger it and it runs out like normal.

I suck at shooting SO HARD. I feel your pain.
Even the first Trevor mission killing all the bikers I had to re-do like 4 times. I saw the Rampage mission on a walkthrough, and there's NO WAY I'll be getting that one done right the first time.
I've been mucking about avoiding it and the Chinese mission for a bit. I wish Micheal and Franklin weren't "laying low", because I'd rather switch back to them and do some more NORMAL stuff.

In everys single mission in GTA 5 where I have to shoot a lot I wish I would sit at my PC..... so much easier with mouse and keyboard...

Eh? I didn't really find it all that difficult. You have unlimited ammo so just keep the trigger down for the most part and take them out before they get too close. I think I wound up killing like 52 of them on my first (and only) try.

Yeah the sticks on a controller are too slow, and the auto aim works 50% of the time, but you have to let go of the aim button and press it again to aim at the next dude. Unless I'm doing it wrong.... maybe I need to change to to Classic GTA or whatever it was.
I don't remember which game it was, but there was one where you'd hit the aim button, aim a guy, hoot him, then use the stick to move the crosshairs to the next guy. MUCH better system, that.
