Rainy day hanging with the kids and watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Dick van Dyke was the man there for a while. I also forgot how well shot this movie was. Great colors and use of light.

It's been years since I've seen it, but the child-catcher always scared the hell out of me. And yes, DVD is an incredibly talented person. He was fabulous in Mary Poppins, even with that terribly fake Cockney accent.

I had the Corgi Toy Chitty when I was a kid...pull the outside handbrake lever and the 'wings' would pop out from under the running boards. Dammit Mom, why'd you get rid of all my neat shit?

That car, as well as the 60' ere Batmobile, would be in my ultimate car collection. As soon as I win the Powerball lottery, that is.
