With three people crammed in a Triumph TR3, and no visible belts. One big bump (of which there are many) would send that poor lady flying. CRINGE!

When I grew up nobody but racecar drivers wore seat belts. We would cram way too many people into a convertible and go places like Lake Michigan and hoon just a bit on the way.

1.) There are no seatbelts in a Triumph TR3.
2.) There are no seatbelts in 95% of cars made before 1964
3.) As much as people like to think this these days, driving down the street without a seatbelt will not automaticall kill you
4.) Yes, that is how small the rear seat in a Triumph is. It IS technically a seat, however there is no legroom to speak of.

A fully-loaded very nice-looking Triumph TR3 with wire wheels. Be glad you are still alive, as that older gent is certainly a spy (for a foreign country), and that woman (on the phone) is no doubt dialing a "service" to have you brought in for questioning (with a pair of chrome-plated pliers). Stay quiet (and hidden) my friend.
