ICON is a company that basically puts old bodies onto new chassis'. They currently have "production models" of a Jeep CJ, a Ford Bronco, and a Toyota FJ. Basically, they throw a chassis out of a modern equivalent under the car, stuff it with modern brakes, fuel system, suspension, drivetrain, etc, and then throw the body back on top. They deck the vehicles out with modern equipment to make them more livable, but more importantly, more capable. And the results are pretty stunning. I love how they look (tastefully classic, yet with a modern touch), and I love the whole idea of the company. I can only imagine how expensive they are, but still, ICON is a badass company. Cruise around their site for more details. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

The Bronco though? Powered by a new Coyote 5.0, 6 speed manual trans stock, new suspension, and disc brakes all the way around. Awesome.

Plus, I also read in a magazine article they threw an old Dodge 2 ton extra cab pickup onto a new Cummins chassis. GOD that is glorious.

They've ALSO done restomods on all sorts of vehicles, from new Mercedes G Wagons (not necessarily a resto, but definitely a mod), and this old 52 DeSoto Wagon. They keep getting better.
