While I don't know much about Bentleys, I know "4.2L V8" doesn't sound right.

I did a quick look on wikipedia and it seems you're right. According to wikipedia it had 6.75L V8

That seems like a fair price.
There's a red 1997 one on eBay listed for just under $25k with more than twice the mileage, so I'd say NP on this one, even if the engine is listed improperly on that CL listing, and there's no pics of the interior or under the hood.
If someone was to go check the car out in person, and it all checked out alright, I'd pay that price, if I had the money.

The 'ol 6 and three quarter liter .... If you can't list something like that right, I wouldn't buy from you anyways. Same goes for Jeeps or BMW's with "V6's". I'll gladly go to someone else who actually knows the car, so I wouldn't take the chance in this case.

On MSNauto they only list one available trim in 98, the Brooklands R. If it checks out and is straight, you could try lowballing them by telling them parts are just not available anymore and all that jazz that is mostly true. I don't know I think it would be fun to have a 90's Bently, I would much rather have an Arnage TT though.
(kinja wouldn't let me type this as a new comment. . . and it keeps playing with the scrolling of the screen as I type. . . I swear it is possesed.)

It looks like a money pit. I shudder to think what parts cost for that thing. Also, there are no interior pics. Red flag.
